Illuma, the artificial intelligence company at the forefront of contextual-AI, has appointed Ryan McBride to lead global strategy and business development from the United States.
Ryan formerly led business development at Grapeshot and went on to be VP of Product Strategy at Oracle, post-acquisition. He will work alongside Illuma CEO Peter Mason, helping to set strategic direction and oversee key partnerships.
Ryan said: “I was introduced to Illuma in early 2023 and was immediately impressed by their AI-powered suite of AdTech data applications. With the transformational shifts happening across the ecosystem, now more than ever, advertisers and publishers will need to adopt innovative solutions that drive towards desired outcomes instead of relying on legacy AdTech data concepts. Illuma’s Contextual-AI engine is that innovative solution.”
“Accurate, effective and scalable AI technology will now be key to solving market challenges for advertisers and publishers, and I’m genuinely excited to join Illuma at this pivotal time.”
Illuma CEO Peter Mason said: “Ryan is an industry-leading talent whose expertise in developing and scaling AdTech organisations is second-to-none. Ryan shares many of our passions, including a belief in the importance of equitable exchange and preserving the open web, and we are privileged that he has decided to join Illuma.”
